Psalm 107B

Dolfor 8.7.8.7.6.7. (Welsh melody)

22 Let them sacrifice thank-offerings,
sing with joy of all his deeds!
23 Others sailed with ships on oceans,
merchants on the mighty seas.
24 God’s great works they saw there,
his great actions in the deep.

25 For he spoke and stirred a tempest,
and the waves were lifted high.
26 Then they sank down to deepest depths,
mounted up towards the sky.
There within danger’s jaws
all their courage ebbed away.

27 Like drunkards they reeled and staggered;
they were at their last wits end.
28 Then they cried to God in trouble,
and he saved them from their pain;
29 Stilled the storm to a breath;
all the waves he hushed again.

30 They were glad when calm descended,
and he led them to their port.
31 O thank the Lord for steadfast love
wondrous deeds of every sort!
32 Raise his praise in the crowd!
Praise him in the elders’ court!

The psalm continues at Psalm 107C.
