Psalm 119:121-128

Kedron L.M. (Elkanah Kelsey Dare, 1782-1826)

121 I have done what’s just and righteous;
let no oppressors me distress.
122 Ensure your servant’s safety here,
lest haughty fools should me oppress.

123 My eyes grow weak while seeking aid,
they wait to see your promise met.
124 So deal with me in your mercy,
and teach me the commands you’ve set.

125 I am your servant; teach me, Lord,
that I may understand your laws.
126 O Lord, it’s time for you to act;
your law’s been broken without cause.

127 I truly love your commandments, LORD,
I love them more than purest gold.
128 All your decrees direct my steps,
I hate all evil I behold.
