41 O let your loving-kindness come
to me as promised by your word.
42 Then I’ll rebuke my taunting foe;
for I rely on your word, LORD.
43 Don’t take your truth away from me
for all my hope is on your ways.
44 I always will obey your laws
until the very last of days.
45 And I will walk in liberty
for I have sought your precepts well.
46 I’ll speak your laws before great kings;
I’ll not be put to shame at all.
47 For I delight in your commands;
I love how precious they’re to me.
48 In reverence I hold them, LORD;
I meditate on your decrees.
