1 Wholehearted thanksgiving to you I will bring;
in praise of your marvelous works I will sing.
2 For joy I will with exultation cry
in praise of your glorious name, O Most High.
3 My enemies turn and are scattered in fear,
they stumble and perish because you are near;
4 for you have defended my right and my cause,
you have sat in judgment, upholding your laws.
5 Rebuked are the nations, the wicked destroyed,
6 their memory perished, their dwelling-place void.
7 Enthroned and eternal, the Most High shall reign,
the peoples to judge and the right to maintain.
8 The LORD judges the world with his righteousness
9 and is a refuge for those who are oppressed.
10 Your people who know you will trust in your grace;
you’ve never forsaken those seeking your face.
11 Praise God, who in Zion has founded his throne;
proclaim to the nations the deeds he has done.
12 Praise him to whom justice and vengeance belong,
who visits the lowly and overthrows wrong.
The psalm continues with Psalm 9B.
